About ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ RFPs

ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ is a nonprofit that empowers educational institutions. We represent our membership in organizing cost-effective, cooperative technology purchases through a sealed, competitive bid process to negotiate contracts that abide by state procurement statutes.

How It Works:

  1. ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ advertises a multi-state, open, competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) based on a non-brand specification on behalf of our public membership.
  2. Trained ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ scorers evaluate proposals based on a disclosed rubric.
  3. Awards are based on the lowest price offering from a qualified respondent.

    1. There is no sales guarantee for this RFP.

The only thing ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ can do is provide an estimate. The RFP asks for four (4) different configurations. ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ estimates orders for 40-50 podiums over a short time frame (less than a month) for the “Specific” configuration.

All other configurations, ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ estimates a much smaller volume.

The best thing for any bidder to do is to include their manufacturing capacity in the response, and ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ will take that capacity into consideration.

  1. Will the podiums be shipping to one location or several locations? If several can you tell us how many to each location?

Will the podium need a keyboard tray or CPU storage that was an assumption on my part?

The RFP asks for one (1) package of post hardware? Do you want our standard hardware or do you have something specific in mind?

The RFP calls for for logos but we don’t see any art work in the attachments can you email this to us.

    1. The RFP requires vendors to submit four (4) podium specifications: 1. Specific; 2. Good; 3. Better; and 4. Best. The “Specific” podium will be shipping to one location, and ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ expects a demand of 84 podiums over the course of three years. This is not a guarantee of sales. The other three podium specifications are prospective. ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ members, in the future, may purchase podiums and this RFP will provide competitively bid specifications for members to purchase. At this time it is unknown what quantity, or to what locations these podiums might be needed. Vendors should factor that into their bid.

Keyboard trays are not required for any of Podium specifications; vendors may elect to bid Podiums with or without this feature

      Standard post hardware

Please see answer #1. Until ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ members place orders, it is unknown which logos will need to be manufactured. Vendors should bid based on the cost of creating a logo plate.

    1. The LCD arms must be able to support a LCD screen up to twenty three (23) inches as measured diagonally.
